Become a Fairfax Surrogate Ambassador

Terms and Conditions

• Eligibility: 
  • By applying to become an ambassador for Fairfax Surrogacy, I understand and agree to the terms and conditions listed below: 
    • I am 21 years of age or older. 
    • I am not an employee, agent, franchisee, or partner of Fairfax Surrogacy. I cannot act on behalf of the company. I do not have any authority to incur debt, obligation, or liability on behalf of the company. 
• Promotion and Marketing: 
  • I will promote and market the surrogacy process in a positive manner. 
  • I will share the brand message on social networks. 
  • I may receive branded merchandise. If I receive brand merchandise, I agree to model/display it in social media posts. 
  • I will share or post as often as I would like on my social media accounts and tag or @mention Fairfax Surrogacy or @TheSurrogacyChannel in each post that relates to surrogacy. 
• Content Guidelines: 
  • I will promote Fairfax Surrogacy on social media accounts by posting appropriate photos or videos and discussing my own surrogacy journey, the surrogacy process, or experiences with Fairfax Surrogacy. 
  • To ensure a clear understanding of what is considered “appropriate,” the following types of videos or photos should not be used: 
    • if curse words are used 
    • if illegal drugs are present or mentioned 
    • if alcoholic beverages are present or mentioned 
    • if my answers direct potential clients away from Fairfax Surrogacy (ie. I would do my next journey independently / with a different agency) 
  • I have permission to repost an existing post by Fairfax Surrogacy. 
  • If Fairfax Surrogacy, in its sole discretion, requests that a social media post be removed, I will immediately comply. 
• Code of Conduct:  
  • I will conduct myself in a manner that reflects the highest standard of integrity and responsibility in keeping with the reputation of the company. If I do not uphold these standards, I will be immediately removed from the Ambassador Program and forfeit any future referral payments effective immediately.   
• Referral Payments:  
  • I will receive $1,000 per surrogate referral, payable when a match been confirmed and both the surrogate and the intended parents have met and signed a Match Agreement. 
  • If referrals are submitted without using my link or entering my name in the inquiry or application form, the referrals will not be credited to me. 
  • Payment will be made by check within 30 days of the surrogate candidate signing a match agreement to work with a specific set of intended parents. 
  • Any referrer earning $600 or more annually will need to complete a W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification). 
• Website and Link Usage:  
  • I am encouraged to share Fairfax Surrogacy’s link on my blog and on other social media; however, I may not use Fairfax Surrogacy’s link or logo in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Fairfax Surrogacy’s website or any other site, create spam or any other unwanted solicitation, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of Fairfax Surrogacy’s website, my own website or other location of our links. 
• Termination and Cancellation: 
  • I acknowledge that ambassadors will not be treated as company employees for any reason. 
  • If I choose to leave the Ambassador program, any photos or videos sent to Fairfax Surrogacy will remain in their database to use on their social media platforms and marketing campaigns. 
  • Either party may terminate this agreement immediately for cause or without reason upon written notice. 
  • Fairfax Surrogacy reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time. 
  • This agreement is subject to acceptance by Fairfax Surrogacy and is conditioned by the acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
  • Fairfax Surrogacy may discontinue this Ambassador Program at any time. 
• Privacy and Confidentiality:  
  • I understand that any personal information or data shared with Fairfax Surrogacy in the context of this Ambassador Program will be handled in accordance with the company’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. I agree to keep all confidential information received from Fairfax Surrogacy during the course of my participation in the program confidential and not disclose it to any third parties without prior written consent from Fairfax Surrogacy. 
• Intellectual Property:  
  • I acknowledge that any intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, and promotional materials, provided to me by Fairfax Surrogacy for the purposes of promoting the company and its services remain the exclusive property of Fairfax Surrogacy. I agree not to reproduce, modify, or distribute any of these materials without the prior written permission of Fairfax Surrogacy. 
• Changes and Updates:  
  • I understand that Fairfax Surrogacy may modify or update the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time, and such changes will be effective upon notification to me. It is my responsibility to review the updated terms and conditions and comply with them. 
• Termination and Forfeiture:  
  • I acknowledge that any failure on my part to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement may result in the termination of my participation in the Ambassador Program and the forfeiture of any referral payments or benefits owed to me. 
• Governing Law and Jurisdiction:  
  • This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fairfax Surrogacy operates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
